SUSTENET is a
COST Action

designed to catalyse the adoption of Thermoelectric (TE) technology as a cornerstone of the circular economy. By harvesting wasted thermal energy and repurposing it as electrical power, TE systems offer a unique pathway toward the EU’s decarbonization goals.

Our Mission: To overcome current supply chain barriers, SUSTENET leverages a collaborative network of researchers and industrial partners to maximize the impact of TE applications. We focus on:

  • Knowledge Creation: Accelerating interdisciplinary breakthroughs.

  • Industry Engagement: Linking research excellence with commercial viability.

  • Career Development: Empowering researchers through workshops and training schools.

  • Sustainability: Ensuring all solutions meet strict environmental impact standards.

About

SUSTENET advances sustainable thermoelectric innovation by linking research, industry and policy to support circular energy systems EU.
